Preparation

Our solution architect and business analyst researched whether it was possible to automatically pull the number of followers, view statistics, reach, and other metrics from social networks when registering an influencer. To collect such data, we needed to use the Facebook and Google APIs.

We also held a three-week planning product phase during which we described the application and prepared requirements for developers.

Team Performance

Our client actively generated new ideas to improve the product, and our development team showed flexibility and a readiness to understand the client’s suggestions and quickly make changes. As a result, we achieved mutual understanding and a high level of productivity.

Challenges

The biggest challenge during this project was that we needed to get our client’s app approved by Facebook and Google to use their APIs. The approval processes are complex, lengthy, and include strict rules: for example, we had to shoot a video for Facebook and Google, according to specific requirements, about how we would use the app.

In addition, Google required us to create a landing page with a description of the application. Initially, we had developed only the web platform.

Future Plans

Together with our client, we plan further development, new opportunities, and audience growth. To achieve this, we are expanding the team to quickly develop features and release them to production.
The next version of the app will include integration with the Zendesk ticketing system
